In the 70s when he attended, students would bring their guns to school and store them in their lockers until they went hunting after classes were over. There weren't any school shootings then. Who is the Mountain Man? Raised amid the dairy farms and forests of 1960s Upstate New York, Tim Jones grew up hunting, trapping and fishing in the wilderness that surrounded his home. Tim’s experience has included time spent as a nuisance wildlife agent, as a teacher of tracking and wildlife habits, becoming New York state’s youngest elected official, building a thriving construction business from the ground up, continuing his family’s tradition of metalworking, and establishing himself as an acclaimed artisan in the field of art and design. Tim is a connoisseur of fine vintage snowmobiles. He now spends more time with a camera in hand than a gun, but still loves every moment spent in the wild, and relishes his role of granddad.
