You recently watched Joe Rogan slam Hollywood for its hypocrisy on guns on his podcast. Almost as if in answer, Jennifer Lawrence confirmed his assertions in an upcoming interview with Vogue, saying derisively, "people are still voting for politicians who receive money from the NRA." The hypocritical part is that Lawrence herself has made money many times by wielding firearms in her films. In a bizarre tweet, New York Governor Kathy Hochul encouraged credit card companies American Express, Mastercard, and Visa to "categorize firearm purchases & flag suspicious activity." It's hard to imagine what credit card companies would do to find "suspicious activity" in a transaction between legal gun purchasers and gun shops. After taking time out of his attacks on Americans' rights to spend their money on wars in other countries, and to raise their taxes with his new "Inflation Reduction Act," Joe Biden is back at it, calling for infringements on the Second Amendment. A former agent of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives recently wrote a letter criticizing his employer of 18 years.
