In a small shop in Norco, California, about 50 miles southeast of Los Angeles, one man decided he had had enough, and took the law into his own hands. When four robbers pulled up to his store, and began to enter with rifles pointed at him, the 80-year-old man fired a single blast from his shotgun, hitting the first burglar in the door. As the criminals fled back to their vehicle, between screams of agony, the wounded intruder repeatedly shouted "He shot my arm off!" Peter Sblendorio reports in the New York Daily News: An 80-year-old liquor store owner thwarted a robbery attempt Sunday by … [Read more...]
You Ain't Taking My Guns
“According to statistics from the NRA, around 23% of women in the U.S. own guns, when just 13% did in 2005,” writes Susanne Edward in her piece in Americas1stFreedom, “The RISE of the Woman Gun Owner.”
“The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF),” she continues, “has documented a 77% rise in female gun ownership since 2005.”

“Surge of Interest in Firearms among Urban Black Women”
In urban America, residents are realizing that their politicians' decades-long policies of disarmament have left them, the law-abiding members of their communities, at the mercy of the lawbreakers. Now, they're fighting back. Peter Jamison reports in The Washington Post that there has been a " surge of interest in firearms among urban Black women." Jamison writes: A 16th week had passed with no arrest in the murder of Patrice Parker’s son, another week in which she had struggled through grief for him and fear for herself and her surviving daughters. It wasn’t just that the person who had … [Read more...]
Arizona Fights ATF’s Unconstitutional Plan to Bankrupt Gun Manufacturers
You may have heard that the Senate confirmed Joe Biden's radical nominee, Steve Dettelbach, as the next director of the ATF. Dettelbach, and Biden's ATF, are making every attempt to curtail the constitutional rights of Americans to keep and bear arms. Their newest strategy is to attempt to regulate every part of a firearm as though it were an entire firearm. The cost of the paperwork and compliance necessary for such regulation would simply put most small parts manufacturers out of business. Thankfully, gun owners have someone on their side. Arizona AG Mark Brnovich is standing up against the … [Read more...]
Assault Weapons Bans Challenged in Courts after SCOTUS Ruling
The recent major ruling by the Supreme Court against New York's concealed carry regime has opened the door for challenges to other unconstitutional gun laws. Justice Clarence Thomas's majority opinion created a pathway for challenging other laws that anti-gun politicians use to keep law-abiding citizens from owning firearms for their self-defense. The Wall Street Journal's Jacob Gershman reports: The high court previously held in 2008 that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual the right to keep handguns in the home. Justice Clarence Thomas’s majority opinion in Bruen extended that … [Read more...]
New Assault Weapons Ban Approved by Congressional Democrats
Yes, they are coming for your guns. Despite years of denials that "no one is coming for your guns," the Democrats running the powerful House Judiciary Committee, led by Chairman Jerrold Nadler, have just passed the first federal assault weapons ban bill in decades. Turns out the only truthful Democrat was Beto O'Rourke, who said the quiet part out loud when he stated “Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47.” Fox News's Brie Stimson reports: The House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday moved a bill banning assault weapons forward but it’s unclear if the legislation has enough … [Read more...]

The new ammunition tracking scheme is one more layer of the virtual Panopticon enveloping Americans' freedoms. Now, every time you buy ammunition for your firearm in New Jersey, you'll be thoroughly recorded, including such … [Read more...]
WATCH: New York Governor Melts Down When Asked for Facts
It's been a hard week for New York Democrats, including Governor Kathy Hochul. The Supreme Court bodyslammed the party this week by overturning the state's unconstitutional concealed carry permitting program. Of course, Hochul and other Democrats were angry at the ruling. When asked if her opposition to the court's Supreme Court ruling was based on any numbers showing that concealed carry permit holders were more violent, she replied "I don’t need to have numbers. I don’t need to have a data point to say this." Watch the video below: Anne: Do you have numbers to show that it’s the concealed … [Read more...]
This State Leads America in Gun Ownership
What state comes to mind when you think of gun ownership? Surely Texas, with its cowboy history and Alamo spirit would be many people's first choice.
