Surge in Interest for Turning Point USA after Kirk Assassination

In the wake of Charlie Kirk’s tragic assassination, by September 16th, there had been over 54,000 requests to form new chapters of Turning Point USA on college and high school campuses across America. Political commentator Benny Johnson announced on X.com:

The previous day, on the Charlie Kirk Show, guest hosts discussed the surge in chapter requests, which at that point had climbed to 40,000. Watch:

If more of the Charlie Kirk Effect is to get kids and college students thinking about their future and engaging them in politics, he’d likely approve of that legacy. Surely Kirk’s wife and colleagues at Turning Point USA are working hard to make him proud and carry on where he left off.
