You read recently about Your Survival Guy’s summer fun in New Hampshire and Maine. Summer in northern New England is a wonderful time. A client recently wrote to me about his adventures through Vermont and New Hampshire, hiking many miles through the White Mountains. He wrote:
Thanks,
We had a great trip, our first time in NH/VT in the summer. We had only traveled up there for skiing in the past.
With my wife as the lead, when you go on your first hike in 2 years, you end up icing your knees and ankles. We did a very hard 9-mile, steep rock scramble up and down. Plus, we missed a sign and did an additional round trip down and back up another peak, about 1.5 additional miles. Our phones said we did about 13 miles.
We also did two other hikes later in the week along streams with waterfalls.
Talk to you soon, have a great rest of the summer.
