Your Survival Guy: Good Morning from New Hampshire

A good New Hampshire morning to you from Your Survival Guy. If you want to get into the outdoor adventure mindset, then I highly recommend you watch or re-watch Free Solo, the documentary about Alex Honnold’s solo free climb of El Capitan.

I was interested in rewatching because I told my family at dinner that I’m reading Mark Synnott’s new book Into the Ice: The Northwest Passage, the Polar Sun, and a 175-year-old Mystery. Synott, who lives in the Mt. Washington Valley in New Hampshire, wrote the book The Impossible Climb: Alex Honnold, El Capitan, and the Climbing Life. Enjoy.

The Newport office is on a quiet, tree lined street not far from the harbor and the log cabin in Bartlett, NH, the “Live Free or Die” state, sits on the edge of the White Mountain National Forest. He enjoys spending time in Key West (RIP JB) and Paris. Please get in touch with E.J. at ejsmith@yoursurvivalguy.com To sign up for my free monthly Survive & Thrive letter, click here.
