Florida Governor Ron DeSantis took to Twitter to support Donald Trump after the raid on Trump’s Florida residence, Mar-a-Lago. DeSantis tweeted:
The raid of MAL is another escalation in the weaponization of federal agencies against the Regime’s political opponents, while people like Hunter Biden get treated with kid gloves. Now the Regime is getting another 87k IRS agents to wield against its adversaries? Banana Republic.

The two recently earned nearly all the support of conservatives polled at the CPAC conference. Together Trump and DeSantis secured 93% of the votes in CPAC’s annual straw poll for president.
