Coronavirus Infects Stock Market: Part XXV

If you have watched President Trump’s press conferences, especially last Saturday night, you’ve seen him hit it out of the park like a modern-day Babe Ruth. He’s leading from the front. He’s in control. He defers to experts and has an A-1 lieutenant in VP Pence.

Turn your eyes to the cesspool media and their negative questions and all you get are “what have you done for me lately?” questions. It’s as if they’re not even there, straight out of Hunter Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. In a time of America’s governor-inflated crisis, the cesspool isn’t even listening, never mind reporting.

Morning cable panders to those who need life spoon-fed to them. Joe Scarborough and co-host Mika Brzezinski (especially her) are despicable. They deride President Trump for his efforts as if he created the disease himself. The same can be said for multi-decade Washington swamp creature, Speaker Pelosi.

They don’t care about the sacrifices you made in your life to get where you are today. They want your money, while the governors, mostly in blues states, want you to listen! They look like they’ve just seen a ghost. They demand you allow them to help you. Reagan was right. “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I’m from the Government, and I’m here to help.

A huge swath of Americans believes your money is free. They want the government to help them, with your money.

Nothing is free.

You instinctively know America needs to get back to work.

You understand life is full of risks and that the stock market doesn’t just go up. It’s why you and I are working together (I hope).

You know that.

I know that.

You hope for the best, plan for the worst.

You help out where you can.

You, as a productive American, are not responsible for the rest of the country’s happiness.

That’s a mirage in the desert.
