San Francisco: It’s a Start

After years of worsening conditions, San Franciscans said “no” to more crime by recalling their woke, Soros-backed DA Chesa Boudin, and began down the long path to recovery. The city still has a long way to go, but when its residents put order over chaos by voting against radical wokeness, the changes quickly began. Recently, San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie touted the city’s drop in car break-ins to a 22-year low, writing on X.com:

Car break-ins hit their lowest level in 22 years last year, and 2025 numbers continue to fall. With strategies like drones and a dedicated car break-in unit, we are cracking down on theft. Thank you to @SFPD for your efforts. Let’s keep up the momentum.

The San Francisco DA’s Office, now run by DA Brooke Jenkins, is also putting victims ahead of criminals. That’s a nice change from DAs who treat criminals as though they are the victims. Recently, the office took the time to honor the National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.

Action Line: Credit must be given where it’s due. San Franciscans, desperate to free themselves from the crime wracking their city, took a gamble on recalling their woke DA, and it has so far paid off. Hopefully, other cities will see San Fran as an example and work toward restoring law and order on their own streets. Much work still to be done.
