Many Californians are exhausted by the crime they face in their streets. With a gubernatorial election coming up, they have the chance to change the course of their state’s trajectory. One man who many expect to run for the state’s top office is Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, a Trump supporter who wants to end California’s “love affair with criminals.” KTLA reports:

Speculation is mounting that Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, an outspoken supporter of President Trump, will throw his hat into the race for California Governor next year.

Reports of a possible Bianco run picked up steam when a post appeared on the event-planning website Eventbrite stating that he would “make a big announcement” on Monday, Feb. 17.

Bianco has not commented publicly but did criticize Gov. Gavin Newsom while endorsing Donald Trump for president in a video posted to his personal Instagram account last summer.

“This love affair that our governor and our state legislature have with criminals is based on the belief that criminals are not responsible for their own actions, that they are a victim of society, and really, it’s our fault,” Bianco said in the video.

Action Line: You know that many Californians have been fleeing the state, looking for a better America. But will those who remain stand up and fight for what’s left? Click here to subscribe to my free monthly Survive & Thrive letter to be one of the first to receive my 2025 Super States rankings.
