
At the Charlie Kirk memorial, Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recalled a conversation he had with Kirk about dying “with our boots on,” in other words, dying in the fight for their beliefs. Kennedy, of course, is the son and nephew of two men who were killed in political assassinations that rocked America to the core. He, more than anyone, feels the weight of this tragic violence.
