How you feelin’ about your survival prep? Like I’ve said to you before, you don’t need to solve it over the weekend. It’s a process. It’s a mindset. Let’s start with mindset. Are you investing in my number one investment in the world, Y-O-U?

No one’s more important than you when it comes to taking care of what’s important. Certainly not the government. The government wants to line other peoples’ pockets with your money. Is it any surprise we’re looking at such a low employment participation rate? Who wants to work when they can sit home and get paid?

Before you pack a go-bag or store 5,000 gallons of water on the hill behind your home, make sure your financial house is in order.

Action Line: When forces are working against you, especially to use your money for their goals you need to make sure you save every penny you can. This is not a time to worry about return on assets; it’s about return of them. If you need help, I’d love to talk with you.

He grew up in Mattapoisett, MA, an idyllic small town on the water near Cape Cod. He spends time in Newport, RI and Bartlett, NH—both as far away from Wall Street as one could mentally get. The Newport office is on a quiet, tree lined street not far from the harbor and the log cabin in Bartlett, NH, the “Live Free or Die” state, sits on the edge of the White Mountain National Forest.
