NH Takes a Step Toward Campus Carry

You may have seen the news that the New Hampshire House of Representatives has a bill to allow college students to carry a concealed firearm on public campuses. The bill was introduced by Sam Farrington, a Republican representative from Rochester, NH, who is also a student at the University of New Hampshire, and one of the House’s youngest representatives ever. Farrington rose in the chamber to defend his bill before the vote, watch:

Separately, Farrington explained his motivations for the bill, writing, “Self defense is not a privilege, it is a right. This right does not end when you step foot on a public university. House Republicans will soon pass Campus Carry to protect college students in NH.”

Action Line: Treating college students like adults on one side of an imaginary campus line while turning them into children again once they cross that line makes no sense. Everyone deserves the right to defend themselves. Get your gun, and your training now. New Hampshire has been Your Survival Guy’s top Super State for four years running.
