A Remembrance: Everyone Was His Best Friend

A friend of mine recently attended a celebration of life. It was for a high school friend loved by everyone. The deceased’s best friend, Bob, told a story of going over to say his last goodbye when he was greeted at the walkway by a next-door neighbor. Explaining how they were long-time best friends, the neighbor said, “Oh, you must be Pete. I’ve heard so much about you.”
