This is great news if you, like me, are in possession of a concealed carry license. One of the biggest hassles with my CCL is that it’s useless when I visit my family in Massachusetts. Tying down CCL reciprocity, between all 50 states, to the Second Amendment would solve a lot of problems for law abiding citizens. TheTruthAboutGuns.com reports here:
Here’s how we are going to get our concealed carry privileges in RI. Specifically, the proposed language reads, “The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017 doesn’t specify a residency requirement. So, for example, a resident of New York City who obtained a Utah Concealed Firearm Permit could legally carry a firearm in The Big Apple. (I suspect that would make a certain billionaire plutocrat rather cross.).”
