Congratulations to Paul Pierce for a great career and retiring as a Celtic. After 19 incredible years in the NBA, Pierce signed a contract allowing him to retire as a Boston Celtic, where he spent the bulk of his career. Pierce said of the contract “It’s an honor to have this opportunity to once again call myself a Boston Celtic. The organization and city took me in and made me one of their own, and I couldn’t imagine ending my career any other way. I’m a Celtic for life.”
