Now CoreLogic has determined which cities gained the most refugees, and which lost the most residents. The top 15 destination metro areas were:

- San Antonio-New Braunfels, TX
- Deltona-Daytona Beach-Ormond Beach, FL
- Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, TX
- Stockton, CA
- Cape Coral-Fort Myers, FL
- Phoenix-Mesa-Chandler, AZ
- North Port-Sarasota-Bradenton, FL
- Greeley, CO
The 15 places Americans were most eager to leave were:

Of the most popular destinations, 13 of the 15 were located in America’s Growth Corridors. Of the cities Americans were escaping, only four were in growth corridors.
