You know Your Survival Guy loves New Hampshire. Besides spending a lot of time in the Granite State, New Hampshire topped my 2022 list of Super States. Though Your Survival Guy spends most of his time in the White Mountains, New Hampshire's south is endowed with one of America's "best-run cities" in Nashua. According to WalletHub, Nashua is America's fourth best-run city. Adama McCann writes for WalletHub: The past year has been a true test of the effectiveness of local leadership. City leaders have had to facilitate the transition from the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic back to a state much … [Read more...]
New Hampshire Is Open for Business!
Visitors are flocking to New Hampshire this fall for the foliage and festivities. WBAL reports: Fall time activities were in full swing in New England over the weekend. Like every year, the fall foliage is drawing people from all over the world into New Hampshire. The annual pilgrimage to see the awesome autumn colors is proving so popular this year that some people say they're getting stuck in leaf-peeping traffic jams. Photos from Franconia Notch on Sunday showed vivid foliage, but also bumper-to-bumper traffic. At Mack's Apples in Londonderry, New Hampshire, apple picking, pumpkin … [Read more...]

Is the Pledge of Allegiance Too Religious for School?
A school board in North Dakota has ended its tradition of reciting the Pledge of Allegiance before meetings because of the words "under God," in the pledge. The Blaze's Paul Sacca reports: On Tuesday, the Fargo School Board voted 7-2 to stop reciting the Pledge of Allegiance before every meeting. North Dakota newspaper Inforum reported that a school board member nixed the Pledge of Allegiance because it didn't align with the district's diversity, equity, and inclusion values. Americans Are Fleeing Cities for Land, Low Taxes, and This…
Americans are fleeing to the Super States, where taxes are low, and the cost of living is also lower. But money isn’t the only motivation. Americans want peace and freedom too. The big blue blob cities have proven over the last two years that they do not care about Americans’ safety. They prefer to empower criminals and defund the police rather than protect the weak and vulnerable. And when you try to protect yourself, they ban your guns. And when COVID hit, their only solution was job-killing draconian lockdowns. Govs. Ron DeSantis and Kristi Noem showed them an alternative path, but they … [Read more...]

Not everyone gets to retire. If you want to spend your golden years enjoying travel or your favorite hobbies, or simply sitting by the beach, you need to save until it hurts now. This State Could Climb Your Survival Guy’s Super State Rankings Fast
North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper (D), has compromised with Republicans on tax cuts for the state's corporations and individuals in an attempt to avoid the wave of anti-Democratic sentiment that plagued former VA Governor Terry McAuliffe in his race to retake his old position. The problem for Cooper is, it's probably too little, too late. North Carolinians know Cooper is part of the problem, not part of the solution. They want to live in one of Your Survival Guy's Super States, just not with him in charge. The Editorial Board of The Wall Street Journal discusses Cooper's actions, … [Read more...]
Guess Where Americans are Going to Get Away From COVID Lockdowns
Americans with businesses in big blue cities saw their lives torn apart during COVID lockdowns. They had to close up, forcing many of them into bankruptcy, and out of business forever. Now, Americans are leaving states and cities that tore apart their lives and moving to places where politicians respected their rights. Stessa has released a report on the top growing economies so far in 2021. Among the results were the 15 small, midsize, and large metro areas with the most economic growth. Some states kept coming up. In the small, medium, and large metros with the fastest growth, Florida … [Read more...]
