You know that 61% of American counties are now protected by Second Amendment sanctuary status. The counties, states, and cities passing Second Amendment Sanctuary resolutions are telling pro-gun-control activists and politicians that they won't be party to any unconstitutional gun regulations. The resolutions have not gone unchallenged. Gun control activists are well-financed by billionaires like Michael Bloomberg, and are willing to go to court to fight anyone who stands up for the constitution. That's what happened in Oregon, where gun controllers sued for a judicial review of ordinances … [Read more...]
You Ain't Taking My Guns
“According to statistics from the NRA, around 23% of women in the U.S. own guns, when just 13% did in 2005,” writes Susanne Edward in her piece in Americas1stFreedom, “The RISE of the Woman Gun Owner.”
“The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF),” she continues, “has documented a 77% rise in female gun ownership since 2005.”
As Democrats target the suburban female demographic in 2020, they might want to check that, “Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47” strategy at the door.
Millions of men and women across America are here to tell Democrats "You ain't takin' my guns." Read more about Americans fighting back against gun control below:
Racism? Incorrectly Framing the Second Amendment
In The Hill, Jonathan Turley explains why framing the debate over the Second Amendment in terms of racism is wrong. He writes: Racism seems to be the most common denominator of today’s political controversies. Issues long debated over other grounds — the Senate's filibuster rule, voter ID laws, even standardized testing, math, statistics and meritocracy — have all been reframed as a choice between racism and equality. The reframing of such issues in racial terms removes any need to respond to other issues — and it relieves advocates of defending the racism charge. It may be the ultimate … [Read more...]
2ND AMENDMENT ALERT: How Will Sen. Tester Vote on David Chipman?
Joe Biden's radical anti-gun nominee for ATF Director, David Chipman, needs a majority of the Senate to support his appointment, or he'll fail to be confirmed. With Chipman's anti-gun feelings no secret, the NRA will surely be using the vote as a measure of senators' commitment to protecting the rights guaranteed by the Second Amendment. The NRA has previously endorsed Democratic Montana Senator Jon Tester based on his strong voting record on gun rights issues. But what if he votes to support Chipman? In the Montana Standard, Donald Trump Jr. explains that Tester can't support both Chipman … [Read more...]

Shaner, a 20-year-old Colorado Springs, Colorado, resident, posted an Olympic-record score of 251.6 to edge China’s Sheng Lihao, a 16-year-old who took silver with a score of 250.9. China’s Yang Haoran claimed the bronze medal at 229.4. This was Team USA’s first gold medal in the … [Read more...]
HOMICIDE SPIKE: Unprecedented Rise in Murders Hits America
America has seen an unprecedented spike in homicides. Not surprisingly during the same year, many cities defunded the police. Peter Moskos reports: The rise in murders in the U.S. in 2020 was unprecedented. Complete nationwide data for the year won’t be available until September, but we already know that in 70 cities and counties that account for a fifth of the U.S. population, the murder rate rose by 35%. The largest previous increase on record was 13% in 1968—a year that, like 2020, was marked by civil unrest, often triggered by police misconduct, leading to demands for police reform. In … [Read more...]
Supreme Court Weighs NY’s Unconstitutional Gun Laws
The Supreme Court is facing what could be the most significant Second Amendment case since Heller. This case, New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc. v. Bruen, will, once and for all, determine the limits of states' ability to segregate gun restrictions by favored classes. Every law-abiding American who wants to carry a firearm ought to be able to carry one. Many states have already recognized the right to constitutional carry, and set regulations accordingly. Others have made it easier for residents to get permits. But some are still telling citizens that they need a special … [Read more...]
Is Biden’s Anti-Gun ATF Nominee Against the WHOLE Bill of Rights?
Americans can have no doubt that Joe Biden's nominee for ATF director, David Chipman is strongly opposed to the freedoms protected by the Second Amendment. But they may not know that he also isn't really keen on the First Amendment either. America's First Freedom reports: A U.S. Senate vote on President Joe Biden’s (D) anti-gun nominee to run the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), David Chipman, is expected in the next few weeks. As the Democratic leadership tries to secure the votes to confirm Chipman, more and more keeps coming out on him. Now, it turns out that … [Read more...]
Here’s Why Gun Control Is Racist
At Constitutional Rights, Corey Wisniewski explains the racist impact of gun control, writing: Gun control disproportionately impacts the poor and minorities and puts them at greater risk of prosecution. So why is it that progressives, who like to think of themselves as champions of the “people,” are always pushing for stricter gun-control laws? In January 2016, New York mayor Bill de Blasio created “Project Fast Track” to aggressively pursue all firearms cases in New York. Defendants in that court are overwhelmingly young black males who are charged with simply possessing an illegal … [Read more...]
VIDEO: Good News from Remington on the Ammo Shortage
Jason Vanderbrink, President of Remington Ammunition, gives America's gun owners an update on the company's efforts to get ammo back on the shelves. Watch: In 2020, Americans were buying guns and ammunition at a rapid pace, emptying shelves in gun stores while Democrats prepared a severe crackdown on law-abiding gun owners. The run on guns wasn’t helped by governors abusing their COVID-19 response powers to limit gun sales. It appears now that the rapid pace of ammunition and firearms sales that has been kept up for a year now might be slowing a little. Guy Sagi reports for American … [Read more...]
Gun Sales in Rhode Island Are Way Up in 2021
Let’s talk guns. When Rhode Island’s largest newspaper has an article on guns, there’s always a liberal slant, so let’s get that out of the way first. In this article, “Gun Background Checks in R.I. Outpace 2020,” the expert the author relies upon is, at least to Your Survival Guy, suspect. Why? Two reasons: One, he’s an economist, and two, he’s a forecaster. That’s two strikes. And the third, the writer gives him the last word that reads like this (my emphasis): “In our analytical work, we repeatedly discover that the perception of insecurity, meaning, if I need the police, will they … [Read more...]
