You Ain't Taking My Guns

“According to statistics from the NRA, around 23% of women in the U.S. own guns, when just 13% did in 2005,” writes Susanne Edward in her piece in Americas1stFreedom, “The RISE of the Woman Gun Owner.”

“The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF),” she continues, “has documented a 77% rise in female gun ownership since 2005.”

As Democrats target the suburban female demographic in 2020, they might want to check that, “Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47” strategy at the door.

Florida Mayor Bans Gun Sales

The Mayor fo West Palm Beach, Florida, Keith James, banned the sale of all firearms and ammunition in response to the George Floyd riots. It's too early to tell if this move will be ruled unconstitutional, but at a time when Americans are buying guns at a record pace, James' move seems to go against the wishes of his constituents. A spike in what appears to be gang violence is sucking up resources from Chicago's emergency services that could be put to much better use helping the city's coronavirus patients.
